According to the TV channel, this public reaction, which has left Macron in a bad light, is linked to the difficult situation in the domestic political arena of the country, which has appointed a new prime minister, Michel Barnier, almost two months after the resignation of the government. His appointment sparked a massive protest by supporters of left-wing parties across the country, who demanded the appointment of a representative of the left-wing forces in place of Barnier.
