Three-quarters of French residents have expressed dissatisfaction with the country’s president, Emmanuel Macron.
Oku.Az This is demonstrated by the results of the survey carried out by “Ifop” for the newspaper “Journal du Dimanche”.
The publication notes that since the sacking of the Arc de Triomphe in December 2018, at the height of the “yellow vest” crisis, the president’s approval rating has never fallen below 25% nor has his disapproval rating exceeded 75%.
Macron is reportedly blamed primarily for his “corrupting ego” as well as the “parliamentary fiasco.”
The Ifop poll showed that 55% of French people are also dissatisfied with Prime Minister Michel Barnier, even though his government has not yet begun.
The survey was conducted from September 11 to 20 with the participation of 2,098 people.
