Madrid will ban tourist apartments scattered in residential buildings in the historic center

The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, announced this Tuesday during the city’s plenary session the broad outlines of the future ordinance that will regulate tourist accommodation. “In two weeks we will present a special residential protection plan in Madrid which aims to increase the availability of housing in the center and to definitively regulate housing for tourist use”, detailed the councilor.
