Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov has officially assumed the post of head of Ingushetia. He was elected for a second term on 8 September following a vote in the republic’s parliament.
Kaltimatov took the oath of office before the people of the republic. During the inauguration ceremony, he was presented with the banner of the head of the region.
Kalimatov has been the leader of Ingushetia since 2019.
