A massive fire broke out on Berezhkovskaya Embankment in the Russian capital Moscow.

According to reports, two Ka-32 helicopters of the Moscow Aviation Centre were involved in extinguishing the fire. The Colonel Chernyshev fire-fighting ship also arrived at the scene of the fire.

Helicopters dropped 40 tons of water on the area. At the same time, 130 specialists and 45 technicians are working on the site.

According to information from the Department of Transport, traffic on three lanes was temporarily cut off in the area where the incident occurred.

It should be noted that the fire that started on the morning of August 31 occurred in a three-story administrative building located at the Berejkovskaya bank. The second floor of the building is on fire and the area of ​​the fire is 1,000 square meters. The causes of the fire have not been disclosed.

According to preliminary information, there was no information on deaths or injuries.
