The Republican majority in the US House of Representatives is not interested in considering additional aid for Ukraine. This was stated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, reports Pravda.Ru.
“The Republican majority is not interested in considering additional aid to Ukraine in the near future,” – said the head of the House of Representatives, quoted by the Huffington Post.
It is worth noting that last month Johnson said during an interview that he no longer wants to provide financial support to Ukraine and hopes that after the victory donald trump in the elections he will be able to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
After the elections, neither party managed to reach the result of 218 seats needed to control the chamber. According to American media, the Republican Party has 212 seats, the Democrats 200 out of 435.
