The delegation will be led by the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, accompanied by the vice-president of the Consell de Mallorca, Antonia Roca, the Minister of Tourism, José Marcial Rodriguez, and the Island Director of Tourism for Demand and Hospitality, Suzanne Sciacovelli.
Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera will be represented in a 493 square meter stand where the government also wants to position the cultural and sporting offer of the Balearic Islands in front of the British market.
At the Balearic Islands stand at WTM, the municipalities of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera will be present, with their own counter, as well as ten municipalities from Mallorca (Alcúdia, Andratx, Calvià, Cala Millor, Capdepera, Felanitx, Llucmajor, Santanyí and Ses Salines) and six private co-exhibitors from Sidetours Incoming, Iberosports, Mytransfers, Mallorca Groups, Barceló Hotel Group and Ok Mobility. In order for the sector to be able to organize work meetings at the fair in an organized manner, the Tourism Strategy Agency (Aetib) has been responsible for coordinating all participation in this tourism fair.

The same day, at 4:00 p.m., an activity will take place as part of the co-marketing program managed by Fundació Mallorca Turisme (FMT), with the aim of promoting winter cultural tourism on the island. The event, to be held at the London Eye and organized in collaboration with Lastminute, will feature a special appeal to UK media to highlight the values of the Pledge. The agenda of the Consell de Mallorca continues on November 6. At 10:00 a.m. a press conference will be offered at the Mallorca stand to detail the achievements and collaborations of the co-marketing program, in which the main TTOs, airlines and OTAs of the main tourism transmitters in Mallorca participated. On the same day, in the evening, Mallorca will organize a networking event for 80 people representatives of the media and the British tourism sector, focused on raising awareness, in particular, of the musical and cultural heritage of the island, as well as the commitment to truly responsible tourism.
The delegation’s agenda will be complemented by meetings with key representatives of the UK tourism sector, tour operators, airlines, OTAs and tourism and communications agencies in order to strengthen commercial relations and advancing the goals of sustainability and responsibility in the island’s tourism sector.
