RCD Mallorca and Fundació Reial Mallorca will acquire equipment to help the areas most affected by the disaster caused by DANA this week in Valencia and will organize a material collection point at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. The group of supporters and members of the Moviment Mallorquinista club will do the same from Monday to Wednesday at the Poliesportiu Son Moix cafeteria.
The Club and collaborating entities such as Obramat and Melchor Mascaró were activated with the aim of contributing to the cleanup efforts. Other entities that will participate are AirEuropa, Palma City Hall, Transmed, Foro Baleares, Z Haires, Societat Civil Balear, MVP Fanatics Mayvan, Dyreco and Operador Logística Interislas. The collection will take place next Tuesday, November 5, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the parking lot at gate 9 of Estadi Mallorca Son Moix (c/ Camí dels Reis). All donated material will be sent to the collection center organized by Valencia CF.

Emergency equipment needed
Only the following items will be accepted, which are essential to the cleaning tasks:

• Protective equipment: Rubber boots, gloves of all kinds, safety glasses, masks, work suits, raincoats.
• Cleaning equipment: Large trash bags (100 liters), mops, floor scrapers, window cleaners with sticks.
• Larger equipment: Compressors, water pumps, hoses, gasoline generators.
• EITHEROther essential items: Flashlights, batteries, headlamps, maintenance clothing, blankets.

Food collection
RCD Mallorca wants “thank you for the initiative of the Moviment Mallorquinista, which, starting from Monday, will collect food and other products at the Poliesportiu cafeteria in Son Moix.
