During the operation carried out by officers of the Gazakh district police department, 44-year-old Namig Abbasov was arrested, who was in possession of firearms and ammunition and was engaged in drug trafficking.
Oku.Az informs that this was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of the Interior (MIA).
According to the information, marijuana was found at his home, as well as a “Kalashnikov” machine gun, a comb and cartridges. The detainee said that he obtained the machine gun some time ago and kept it with him without handing it over to the police.
A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident and by court decision the arrest of N. Abbasov was ordered. Investigations are ongoing.
