Man arrested for trying to murder his wife in front of their one-year-old daughter in Tenerife

The Civil Guard arrested a 42-year-old Italian in Tenerife, after he attempted to murder a 33-year-old woman of Colombian origin, in the presence of her one-year-old daughter.

Specifically, it was yesterday Sunday in Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife) in an attempted murder of his wife, whom he attacked with a knife on the chest and head in front of the couple’s daughter.

The inmate entered the victim’s home and attacked her, causing injuries that had to be taken to hospital.

After the attack, the inmate tried to commit suicide with the same knife with which he carried out the attack, causing cuts to his neck. The attacker was taken to hospital in serious condition, then arrested around 2:30 p.m.
