A series of fraud crimes were recorded in different areas of the city of Baku.
Oku.Az informs that the Press Service of the Ministry of the Interior published information in this regard.
It was reported that a person who presented himself as an employee of one of the state institutions abused the trust of couriers who delivered food and other products ordered online and took their money. In this way, it caused great economic damage to more than 10 people.
Elchin Mammadov, born in 1991, who committed criminal acts, was arrested thanks to the measures taken by officers of the Nasimi district police department. Methamphetamine, a psychotropic substance obtained for personal use, was also found on him.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
If there are other people affected by E. Mammadov’s fraud, they can report it to the police.
