Man arrested in Palma by threaten a neighbor from the La Vileta neighborhood with an axe and a knifeOn September 1, National Police officers arrested a Spanish man, suspected of committing the crime of threats.
The events took place in this area of Palma, when a man called 091 claiming that he chased by a neighbor who carried an axe in his hand.
Once on scene, officers located the victim and the neighbor at a distance and then interviewed them separately. The victim stated that The man had shown up at his home, knocking persistently on the door. The victim opened the door and her neighbor began threatening to kill her, all because of alleged threats against a relative of the neighbor in question.
The victim left the house to reproach him for these threats, and was able to observe how his neighbor was carrying an axe in his hand and a knife, the victim started running, chased by the man, going around the block while asking for help from the emergency services.
The victim said his neighbor was having problems with other residents and that in the past they had argued.
The neighbor made death threats in the presence of the officers, claiming that no one was threatening him.
For these reasons, the officers proceeded to arrest the man, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of threats, locating an axe and a knife at the door of the house, weapons which were seized by the police.
The National Police also arrested a woman in Palma Woman allegedly stabbed with broken bottle on the arm of another, to steal her handbag.
The events, as reported by the National Police, occurred on August 13. in the Father Garau districtwhen a woman was walking home and was approached by another woman, accompanied by a man, who demanded her to give him her handbag while pulling on it forcefully.
The victim refused and started a struggle with the woman, who grabbed a broken bottle and put it in the victim’s arm. In this way, the attacker took the wallet and left the scene. As a result of the attack, the victim suffered a deep cut on the arm and had to be taken to hospital.
Several police patrols searched the area without finding the attacker and, subsequently, the Judicial Police Group of the Central Police Station of the National Police took charge of the investigations and identified the woman, who was arrested last Thursday as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and injuries. The investigation remains open and new arrests are not ruled out.
