A man has been arrested in Seville for the alleged stabbing murder of his wife, an event that took place in the family home, located in the Pino Montano neighborhood of the capital. The arrested man is admitted to hospital because he allegedly mutilated himself after ending the life of his partner, a 58-year-old woman with whom he had two adult children.
The General Directorate against Gender Violence is investigating whether this is a case of murder due to gender-based violence, although all initial indications suggest this. The Government Subdelegation in Seville confirmed the arrest of the man after an incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
On the part of the government subdelegation, there are no previous complaints of gender violence at the Sistema Viogén. The National Police took charge of the investigation into a death that occurred on Estrella Betelgeuse Street in Pino Montano.
