Man arrested with gun and ‘high capacity’ magazine near Trump rally in Coachella

A 49-year-old man identified as Vem Miller He was arrested Saturday while in possession of a loaded gun near the Republican presidential candidate’s rally. Donald Trump in Coachella, California, as reported this Sunday by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

“Miller was arrested without incident and then transported to the John J. Benoit Detention Center for possession of a loaded weapon and possession of a large capacity magazine“, indicates the police press release.

Officers found him inside a black SUV near the Trump rally, even though the “incident did not affect the security of former President Trump nor of those who attend the event.

Miller was later released on bail. 5,000 dollars (around 4,570 euros), according to the Riverside County Inmate Information System.

The sheriff’s office requested collaboration with the population to provide information regarding this incident by contacting the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station.
