The first section of the Provincial Court of Valence Monday October 14, a man accused of having “transmitted the virus” to him will be tried. AIDS to his romantic partner, to whom he did not inform that he was infected and with whom he had sex without a condom.
According to information provided by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, the defendant and the victim had a romantic relationship between June 2019 and February 2021 during which they lived together in her house in Valencia. According to the public accusation, the accused, “carrying the virus since his birth, would have hidden it from his romantic partner, who was infected”.
Still according to the same official sources, the injured party became aware of it when it discovered pills between clothes of the accused and discovering that they corresponded to a treatment for the disease.
The prosecution provisionally requests a prison sentence of eleven years against the accused for the crime of injury.
