Angus Kocott, 20, miraculously survived the shark attack.

Oku.Az The tabloid “Daily Star” reported about it.

A 2.5 meter predator suddenly appeared and grabbed his hand. The incident took place near the island of Mangareva in French Polynesia.

The water was shallow, but that didn’t stop the gray reef shark from attacking. Kocott did not lose his temper. He quickly pulled out his knife, designed to cut dive cables, and stabbed the shark in the guts. The fish let go of Angus, but its teeth got stuck in the boy’s hand and hurt him.

Doctors performed a skin and nerve transplant operation and removed tooth fragments from the damaged limb. The boy is still receiving physical therapy and nerve treatment, but says he hopes to return to the ocean.

Kocott considers the predator attack a defining experience in her life and even made earrings from the shark’s teeth as a souvenir.

“When the shark bit me, there was no time to panic. In such situations, the body releases so much adrenaline that you just have to move. At first I felt very strong pain and I really thought I was going to lose my head. Arm, I think “that had entered its territory, so you can’t blame the animal,” he described what he experienced.
