Former Manchester City player Benjamín Mendy, who currently plays for Loryan in the French Ligue 2, won the legal process against his former club.
Oku.Az reports that it was reported on the Manchester Employment Tribunal website.
Mandy’s claim is worth around £11 million. The court’s ruling in Mandy’s favor means she is entitled to most of that amount because she spent nearly five months in prison during the 22-month period covered by the lawsuit. The exact amount will be agreed upon between the parties or determined at a future hearing.
It should be noted that after the player was arrested again in 2021, Manchester City stopped paying him £500,000 a month.
In 2023, Mendy was acquitted of all charges against him and filed a lawsuit against Manchester City.
