The President of the Council, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, took advantage of All Saints’ Day, celebrated this Friday, November 1, to remember the victims of High Level Isolated Depression (DANA) which has caused, so far, more than 200 deaths, dozens of missing and enormous material damage in Valencia.
He further asked that the “memory” of the victims be “a constant reminder of what really matters: unity, solidarity and harmony.”
“This All Saints’ Day, we remember with tenderness those who have left us, thus keeping their memory alive. Our thoughts also go to those who suffered the devastating effects of DANA in Spain,” said Mañueco.
The President of the Council assured that Castilla y León is “close to the families who have lost a loved one and to the people who are struggling to rebuild their lives after this tragedy”.
“In Castile and León we join this commemoration with the promise to continue working together, out of solidarity and empathy, looking to the future,” he said.
“May the memory of our loved ones and all the victims of DANA be a constant reminder of what really matters: unity, solidarity and harmony,” concluded the head of the Regional Executive.
