The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernandez Manuecoannounced on Monday that it would convene the political groups represented in the Cortes to begin a series of contacts which allows agreements to be reached. During a press conference in which he discussed the new political direction, the regional leader, who now governs alone and in a minority after the departure of Vox from the regional executive, opted for “dialogue” in this new stage.
Without yet specifying the dates of the meetings, which must be concluded with the different parties represented in the Chamber, he assured that they must take place once the latter has been held. the first plenary session of the new session (September 10 and 11) and that the intention is for them to take place during that same month.
“I would like it to be in one day,” he expressed, but that will be a matter to be determined with the groups. “I hope they come to think about the best for Castilla y León and not in their party strategies“, expressed the President of the Council, who also considered that “It’s time to see who cares about the Community.
Among other topics, the head of the regional executive will put on the table issues related to the next regional budgets of 2025 that, as explained, the Junta de Castilla y León will present “in due time”. The limit set in the Statute of Autonomy is October 15th.
And, he assured, on other occasions, what “seriously delayed” the presentation of the regional accounts was the lack of information on the deliveries on behalf of the central administrationbut these data “have already been provided during the last Fiscal and Financial Policy Council,” he said.
In addition, among the issues he plans to address at these meetings are the health, reconciliation and infrastructure calendar “necessary” roads and railways in the Community.
