Marc Márquez weighs in on MotoGP title: “Game over”

After the Indonesian Grand Prix Marc Marquez It is clear that the fight for the MotoGP title has been reduced to two protagonists: Jorge Martin and Pecco Bagnaia. There is a 21-point difference between them heading into the Japanese Grand Prix weekend.

Marc decided on his options with Gresini: “The title is over for us.”

“We were far in the standings, but with Indonesia’s zero, it’s too much. The objective now is to try to improve our weak point, which is qualifying,” Márquez admitted during the weekend on the Motegi circuit.

You don’t see either Enea Bastianiniwith the other Ducati, in the fight: “Me and Bastianini were the two who could not fail, and with these failures, the World Championship is a matter of two.”

In Indonesia he had to retire due to engine problems. The motorcycle ended up catching fire. And Ducati is already working to find out what happened: “When an engine breaks down, alarms go off in all factories…”

“At Ducati they are trying to understand what happened, because it is true that the engines have already failed, but not in this way,” concludes the man from Cervera.
