The Minister of Defense, Marguerite Roblesadmitted that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine acquired a “global” dimension with the entry of North Korean troops.
Robles is participating this Tuesday in Brussels in a meeting of European Union defense ministers, during which they are studying new support for kyiv and circumvent Hungary’s veto on the disbursement of funds.
“All ministers have expressed our concern about the current situation, particularly the significant rise that occurs as a result of participation from North Korea“and the “terrible attacks that the population is suffering,” Robles said in a video released by Defensa.

The minister reiterated Spain’s support for Ukraine and the commitment to work for a just peace when the 1,000 days of the Russian invasion and after the United States allowed kyiv to use its long-range missiles on Russian soil.
He insisted that Spain’s position was “very clear and unequivocal” in the sense that We must continue to support Ukraine.
“We want a just peace, a peace that defends international values, at the same time as we condemn Putin’s threats and any form of escalation,” Robles noted.
Regarding the meeting in Brussels with EU defense ministers, he said it was underway “very productive”even if he recognized that “certain countries, notably Hungarythey are rather in favor of exclusive discussions”, with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. For the rest, he assured, “we believe that the way is to continue to support Ukraine and a just and lasting peace.”
The meeting of EU ministers coincides with the Russian Defense Ministry’s confirmation of first Ukrainian attack with ATACMS ballistic missiles of American manufacture against the territory of this country.
According to the war report collected by local agencies, five missiles were shot down and a sixth hit the premises of a military installation in the Bryansk border region without causing damage or injuries.
