Maria Diaz Cañete, PP deputy in the Andalusian Parliament, died at the age of 40

THE Member of the Popular Group in the Andalusian Parliament for the province of Seville Maria Diaz Cañete died at 40 years old following a cancer.

This was communicated by the President of the Junta and the PP of Andalusia, Juanma Morenoin a message on the social network declared “devastated” by the death of this young MP, whom she defines as “a example of passion for public service and of fight against a serious illness“.

“A big hug to his family from all of us who were able to work alongside him during Andalusia is better“, Moreno stressed.

Born in Lora del Río (Seville) On February 7, 1984, Díaz Cañete was Graduated in journalism from the University of Seville and entered the Andalusian Parliament after theLast regional elections organized in June 2022in which the PP obtained an absolute majority.

Previously, she was a delegated advisor and first lieutenant of Mayor at City Hall of Lora del Río (Seville) as head of the areas of urban planning, finance, personnel, education, citizenship and culture between June 2019 and July 2022 and previously, she was chief of staff of the mayor between November 2016 and June 2019.
