“The allocation of funds from developed countries to combat climate change should not be considered a special concession to developing countries.”
“Informe” reports that the Minister of Environment and Climate of Brazil, Marina Silva, said this at a press conference.
He said this is for the implementation of transition and transformation for the benefit of all: “Financial commitments must be accountable. Developing countries do not need financial resources to solve poverty-related problems. Although the money allocated affects this issue , the main objective is to prevent frequent and severe weather events.”
