The court sentenced a resident of Mariupol, who transmitted data to the Ukrainian special services, to 11 years in prison. This was reported by the prosecutor’s office of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“The Supreme Court of the DPR issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 23-year-old local resident. Daniil Vinokurov“, – the message said.
It was established that in June 2023, Vinokurov, while on the territory of Ukraine, conspired with employees of a foreign intelligence service to assist them in activities directed against the security of Russia. Last September, a man arrived in Mariupol, where he collected information about the area and objects in the city and transmitted it to the enemy.
In addition, components for a homemade explosive device were found in Vinokurov. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony and a fine of 500,000 rubles.
