Fernando Grande Marlaska This Saturday he went to the Roman Theater of Mérida, where a concert was held to celebrate the feast of the patroness of the Civil Guard. It was the musical unit of the body which interpreted the music, with the Minister of the Interior and Mercedes Gonzalezgeneral director of the organization, among other authorities.
But there were also many anonymous citizens who, very audibly, expressed to Marlaska their dissatisfaction with his management. The head of the Interior is one of the most notable members of the government, both for the decisions he makes in general and for those that affect the members of the state security forces and bodies themselves. It is not for nothing that he practically directly opposes the main police unions due to problems such as the equalization of salaries, lack of personnel, transfers of functions to the various autonomous bodies (notably in the Basque Country and Catalonia) or legislative changes such as that which affects the Citizen Security Act.
To clearly show the dissatisfaction they have with him, especially the distinguished people, they dismissed him from the Roman Theater with a whistle, boos and shouts of “Out, out” which was very evident in different videos shared by politicians opposed to the PSOE, anonymous people or the Jusapol union, among others.
Big whistle and boos against Marlaska during the concert of the boss of the Civil Guard in Mérida.
➡️As minister, a real danger for the civil guards and the national police, always acting against them.

Marlaska and his companions endured the “downpour” as best they could and left the scene without major problem, accompanied by competent bodyguards.
However, it is clear that, as is the case for other members of the Government (starting with Pedro Sánchez himself), whoever holds one of the main portfolios of the Executive is one of the focal points from the anger of citizens who do not do so. share his way of leading the country’s policies.
