He Marratxi Town Hallwho runs the popular Jaume Llompart in coalition with Vox, will launch the 16 strategic projects, recently approved by the Plenary and equipped with five million euros of the remaining treasure, before the end of the year.
This investment package includes reforms and accessibility improvementsnew facilities for young people, shade in schools and playgrounds, adaptation of sports facilities and swimming pools municipal, modification of public lightingas well as the construction of a new fairground in Marratxí, among others.
Jaume Llompart assured that these projects respond to more than a year of “work and dedication, the fruit of numerous meetings with technicians and with the associative fabric of the municipality” with the objective of “provide a real and planned solution to all requests that we have been carrying for years.
In the opinion of the mayor marratxinerit is important that “the neighbors see this change in the town, that they perceive that the Town Hall is there to provide them with solutions”.
With this ambitious package of projects and renovations, the government team led by Jaume Llompart intends modernize and dignify the facilities of the municipality, because “practically since their construction, they have received neither love nor respect in the form of investments and maintenance”.
He The biggest project is the construction of a fairground in Verónicawhose investment will reach 1,755,976.57 euros. “We are very happy to be able to realize it, because it was a PP project during the 2011-2015 legislature, the construction of which could then not be continued due to lack of will. “We really want to put an end to this because our town does not have a funfair,” declared the mayor.
Here are the 16 strategic projects that Marratxí City Hall plans to launch before the end of this year:
1. Construction of a fairground in Verónica.
– Budget: 1,755,976.57 euros
– Location: Sant Marçal (c/ de la Verónica). An abandoned structure will be completed so that Marratxí will have a real fairground.
2. Renovation and improvement of accessibility around the Es Pont d’Inca church.
– Budget: 911,984.20 euros
– Location: urban area of Es Pont d’Inca. Priority is given to the reform and beautification of Es Pont d’Inca square, a place of gathering and activity in the neighborhood.
3. Adaptation of outdoor spaces and partial demolition of the Sa Cabana municipal swimming pool building.
– Budget: 407,137.57 euros
– Objective: modernization of installations for constant use throughout the year.
4. Construction of a Pumptrack in Marratxí.
– Budget: 397,390.53 euros
– Description: a space will be set up for skateboarding, cycling and rollerblading.
5 and 6. Modification of public lighting in Es Pont d’Inca Nou and Son Caulelles.
– Budget: 456,273.11 euros (Next Generation European Fund)
– Objective: improve energy efficiency and lighting conditions.
7, 8 and 9. Shadows in three nursery and secondary schools, five playgrounds and the traffic education park.
– Budget: 306,084.48 euros
– Description: create shaded areas in the CEIP Sa Nova Cabana, CEIP Ses Cases Noves and CEIP Janer Manila schools, five playgrounds and the road safety educational park.
10. Replacement of all the machinery at the three municipal swimming pools.
– Budget: 200,000 euros
– Objective: install more efficient equipment in municipal swimming pools.
11. Repair and maintenance of the facilities of the two municipal daycare centers.
– Budget: 123,380.34 euros
– Description: urgent maintenance, painting and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems.
12. Interior renovation of the changing rooms of the Can Gaspar Sports Center and the Pla de Na Tesa Pavilion.
– Budget: 122,736.57 euros
– Description: rehabilitation of changing rooms.
13. Construction of new municipal archives in Sa Vinya de Son Verí.
– Budget: 70,256.83 euros
– Description: unify and improve the conservation of municipal archives.
14. Construction of three warehouses in the Costa i Llobera pavilion.
– Budget: 62,488.34 euros
– Description: Enable storage.
15. Horizontal signage on the municipality’s road network.
– Budget: 48,356.66 euros
– Objective: improve road safety.
16. Structural consolidation of the floors and roof of the Can Palou pottery workshop.

– Objective: continue the renovation started in September 2023 to improve the condition of this historic building.
