The Madrid exhibition center will host an exhibition entitled “Marvel: Universe of Superheroes” which will retrace the 85 years of life of this publishing label, which has moved from the pages to the cinema, leaving several of the highest-grossing films in history.

“It begins with the origins of the Marvel Universe and continues to the present day, providing the opportunity to see some of the least seen and most valuable objects of eight decades of pop culture history and pointing to the future with some of the work of today’s greatest creators,” he says.

Brian Crosby, head of Marvel Experience Development, has attested that the label “transformed the idea of the superhero in the 1960s, by increasing the visual spectacle, emotional dynamism and philosophical sophistication action and adventure comics.
“Marvel has always been about the world outside your own window, and one of its most compelling messages has been that anyone, without distinction of race, religion or sex, can be a superhero,” Crosby says.
