Nevertheless, or, possibly, from this, the topic of motherhood in the world of art was announced: in 2021/22, Kunsthall Mannheim showed a very complex exhibition “Mother! The origin of life ”, and six months ago, the Bonn Gallery with the“ mother ”represented a group exhibition with modern answers to the radical experience of motherhood and contradictions.
Now follows the art palace of Dusseldorf, who loves to be there on popular topics. And since the reorganization of his collection, as an example, the principle of illuminating comparison was raised for a preferred narrative: new links were made by mixing genres and categories. Art enters into dialogue from handmade or even advertising. The concept follows the stimulus of amazing similarity, but it is also applied: what is not suitable is made suitable.
The exhibition with an invincible memorial name “Mama-with Maria in Merkel” also beats large arches and works with seven-mimic boots through significant thematic blocks, such as “good mother”, (k) get a child, “family constellations” or “care work”.
