And one more gold medal for the French team in the road cycling world championship. On Saturday, September 28, in Zurich (Switzerland), Mathieu Bosredon won the road race in the H3 category. He was far ahead (5 min 54 s) of the Italian Martino Pini.
Mathieu Bosredon had already won on Tuesday in the time trial in this same category, which concerns athletes who use a handbike – a bicycle propelled with their arms – and are classified according to their muscular function and their ability to generate power with their arms.
At the Paris Paralympic Games, Mathieu Bosredon also won gold in the time trial and road race.
With this title, on Friday, the French paracycling team has a total of twenty-two medals in the road World Championships, including seven gold.
