The money collected will be entirely donated to an association working to restore the old town of this town of Albacete.
T-shirts are on sale to help Letur, the municipality of Albacete affected by a DANA last week. At a price of 18 euros per unit, white or black, the campaign aims to raise funds to contribute to the reconstruction of the historic center, declared a Historic and Artistic Site since 1983. “Together, we will restore Letur to its beauty. as always”, we read in the link where the t-shirts can be purchased, and which was shared by the town hall on its Facebook page.
The profits collected will be entirely donated to the association. The owls of Leturwhich works to protect, restore and enhance the old town of this town of around 1,000 inhabitants. It also fights against its depopulation through the protection and promotion of its architecture, its arts, its culture, its ecology and its crafts.
The damage was of such magnitude that, eight days after the flood, Access to the old town is “totally” prohibited until the intervention of technical serviceslike architects and firefighters, consider it safe to enter. The deadly passage of DANA left many families in a “dramatic situation” and, by purchasing the t-shirt, “you contribute to the recovery of Letur”.
