Mazón recognizes “errors” in the management of DANA and does not rule out making political decisions “from Thursday”

The president of the Valencian Generalitat, Carlos Mazonacknowledged that in running DANA, both his administration and others made “mistakes” and that his assessment should be reflected in subsequent thinking.

“There will have to be a time, sooner rather than later, when all institutions will re-examine our actions. We must start from the principle that mistakes could have been made, without a doubt“, recognized the Valencian president during a visit to the works of the so-called Poyo ravine.

The overflow of this boulevard was the cause of most of the victims of the floods which occurred on October 29.

“The first of these errors was not having paid too much attention to the Rambla de Poyoeven if it is not the direct responsibility of the Generalitat, and to have been more aware of the Forata dam, which ultimately did not overflow.
