The Corts Valencianes have decided postpone until Fridaytaking into account the red alert decreed by AEMET due to the risk of torrential rains in Valencia from tonight until tomorrowplenary session this Thursday during which the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, would report on the management carried out so far regarding the DANA which devastated part of the province of Valencia on October 29. A demonstration which was to demand his resignation was also canceled. He will now have to face a second DANA.
This was announced by parliamentary sources after the agreement reached between the four political groups taking into account the situation decreed by the State Meteorological Agency, with a red alert for the north and south coasts of the province. The plenary session, scheduled for tomorrow at 10 a.m., will finally be held Friday at 11:30 a.m.according to the agreement adopted this Wednesday afternoon.
The red notice issued by AEMET restricts the movement of people. It should be noted that the Valencian Parliament houses 100 deputieswho are expected to attend the plenary session from different parts of the community.
