Oku.Az This is stated in a statement by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA).
The agency regretted that this information is being shared under the title of “news articles”:
“It should be noted that in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, all foreign journalists accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan received a positive response to the appeal to the Central Election Commission to cover the elections. Azadlig Radio did not receive any appeal in this regard. Azadlig Radio’s source sharing unknown and biased information under an anonymous “journalist dossier” is a case of abuse of the journalist’s name and clearly contradicts the principles of media ethics. Based on the above, we consider attempts by the media to confuse public opinion by the method of manipulation to be unacceptable.
