On November 4, Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Russians on the Day of National Unity with a post on his Telegram channel. According to the politician, it is love for the Fatherland and alignment with the ancestors that will help the country win.
“Sincere love for the Fatherland, respect for our ancestors, the desire to be worthy of their glorious deeds will help us win. Win in the name of the Homeland! Happy National Unity Day!” – wrote Medvedev.
The deputy head of the Security Council accompanied the publication with a fragment of the 1939 film “Minin and Pozharsky.”
EADaily remember that since 2005, the Day of National Unity has been celebrated by decree of the President of the country in memory of the victory of the popular militias over the interventionists.
