The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) held another meeting under the leadership of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, in preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Change Climate – COP29. which will be held in Baku in November this year.
Oku.Az reports that the meeting was attended by deputy ministers, heads of structural divisions and relevant institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov, the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev He highlighted the importance of COP29 to be held in Baku in November this year as a new confirmation of the great reputation of our country in the international world under his leadership, spoke about the implementation of the tasks assigned to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. in relation to the preparation of this prestigious event.
Subsequently, reports from members of the Headquarters established in the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the resolution of relevant security issues related to the preparation of COP29 were heard and a broad discussion took place.
At the conclusion of the consultation, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov entrusted important tasks for the high level of fulfillment of the tasks assigned to each institution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with the prestigious event to be held in Baku.
