On September 5, 2024, the delegation headed by the President of the International Union of Judges Duro Sessa visited the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It was reported that the Chairman of the Supreme Court Inam Karimov, who greeted the guests, gave detailed information on the judicial and legal reforms carried out in Azerbaijan and the activities of the Supreme Court.
It was noted that one of the main priorities is to strengthen the mutual exchange of experience with international organizations, close cooperation creates conditions for increasing the efficiency of justice. It was noted that in this regard it is also important to strengthen cooperation with the International Union of Judges.
The head of the delegation, Duro Sessa, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, highly valued bilateral relations and stressed that special attention is being paid to the development of these relations.
Issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
