Beijing – The Fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia, Megavati Sokarnopyry, went to Beijing, China, Tuesday (7/7/2025). The visit of the chairman of DPP PDI -P to attend the global civilizational dialogue, which will be held on July 10-11, 2025.
The chairman of the Foreign Affairs PDIP DPP, Ahmad Basara, said that the Chinese government invited Megavati to take part and speak at the global forum of civilization dialogue. 600 people from 140 countries participate on the forum.
“In addition, the Magavati, a number of former state leaders will also make a speech, namely the fourth president of Namibia, Nanlo Mbumba; Former Prime Minister Japan Yukio Khapoyama; Former Prime Minister Belgium Yves Ivaerm. They will perform after Mrs. Megavati (8/7/2025).
Basara said that Megavati will be accompanied by her son M. Rizhyz Pratama, as well as a number of DPP PDIP leaders, namely Ollie Dondocabi, Bintang Puspayoga and protective observer Konni Rahakundini Bakri. It is planned that Megavati and his environment arrived in Beijing at 19:00 local time or at 18:00.
Meanwhile, Basara, along with the Indonesia Ambassador to China, Jauhari Oratmangun and PDIP General Treasury, Ollie Dondocockia and BPIP Expert Council Darmancja Dzhumal, who arrived in Beijing, planned to welcome Megavati tonight at the capital’s international airport.
