On October 31, after renovation, the Alim Mammadov kindergarten in the Khatai district of Baku was reopened.
AZERTAC informs that the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and relatives became familiar with the conditions created in the garden.
The director of the nursery, Liya Majidova, informed the first vice-president and relatives about the work carried out in the nursery.
It was reported that the children’s nursery named after Alim Mammadov, built in 1958, had in the past become unusable and needed to be repaired. By order of Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice President of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the kindergarten was renovated to the level of modern demands.
The childcare center, with capacity for one hundred places, has the necessary equipment and supplies. In this preschool institution, children study in 5 groups.
Landscaping and gardening work has been carried out in the backyard of the garden and a playground has been created for the children.
It should be noted that in our country special care is taken to strengthen the social protection of children and their healthy and happy growth. In this sense, projects related to the reconstruction of kindergartens play an important role.
Education of children is one of the main areas of activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The projects implemented by the fund have led to the development of preschool education institutions and an important qualitative change in this field. These measures, aimed at improving the social well-being of children, who are our future, are a successful and logical result of the policy applied in our country.
