The statement of the Italian Prime Minister, ultra -Attist Georgia Meloni, he will go to the referendum elections on June 8 and 9, but will not collect his ballot, so the quorum is 50%necessary for consultation, it causes the opposition’s protest that criticizes that abstinence.
On June 8 and 9, five canceled referendum will vote, that is, for a complete or partial elimination of the norm, referring to issues of nationality and labor rights, but the government that opens against the proposed changes, instead of encouraging to vote for “non -” abstinations so that the reference is not valid.
When he was asked what he was going to do, Meloni explained on Monday that he would go to the college of voters and complete the identification procedures, but then reject the ballots, the political option, widely used in the past.
Compared to not going to the elections, the Meloni version obviously has more political and symbolic significance, since it is an active form of abstinence, which clearly showed that he knows about the existence of a referendum, but is intended for cancellation, according to the media.
Meloni’s decision coincides with what was expressed by his political allies in recent weeks: the President of the Senazi Ignazio La Russa, the Party of Meloni, the brothers of Italy, said that he wants “propaganda that people stayed at home”, and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, Italy, spoke about “political abstinence”.
“You can be in favor of or against a referendum, but the prime minister decided to hide. This is the one who always said that she was proud of her ideas, but in this case she hid, she decided to run, because the application for polling stations and without removing the ballot, is equivalent to not voting, ”said the leader of the main formation in the opposition, the Democratic Party (PD), Ellynclinin.
For which it voted
In order for the results to be valid, at least half of the citizens entitled to vote must go to the elections on June 8 and 9 to vote on five issues: one requests a change in the rules for the adoption of Italian citizenship, and the remaining four belong to the aspects of labor.
The referendums were advanced by the deputy Riccardo Magic from the progressive party +Europe, which other parties, associations and trade unions subsequently joined and managed to collect more than 637,000 signatures.
The purpose of one of the referenda is to reduce the regular place of residence necessary for the request of citizens from 10 to 5 years, and after receiving in order to be able to transfer it to minor children. Reform will affect at least 2.3 million people in Italy.
Another consultation, supported by the largest trade union in the country, CGIL intends to cancel the rule according to which those who hire after March 7, 2015 in companies with more than 15 employees should not be overestimated to their workplace after unprofitable dismissal, even if the judge establishes this way.
It is also proposed to exclude the compensation limit of unjustified employees in small enterprises, as well as some rules on the use of certain contracts for the duration, while the last question is aimed at increasing the employer’s responsibility in the event of labor accidents or occupational diseases.
