The Valencian company is recovering its pre-summer business hours across its entire network of stores in Spain
Mercadona modified the opening hours of its supermarkets in Spain this Monday, September 2, after the end of the special summer campaign. The company chaired by Juan Roig extended the service in the areas with the highest tourist influx until ten o’clock in the evening and allowed openings on Sundays and public holidays in June, July and August with reduced hours until three o’clock in the afternoon.
Mercadona has implemented this measure in a total of 340 stores, which returned to their usual hours this Monday, September 2. According to the information available on the Valencian company’s website, Mercadona supermarkets will open from September 2 from Monday to Saturday with uninterrupted hours from nine in the morning to nine thirty at night.
Mercadona maintains its philosophy of closing to the public on Sundays and public holidays except in exceptional situations, as happens in tourist towns during the summer months, or in the case where several festivities take place in succession.
Mercadona recommends that its customers consult the section of the website that details the opening hours and opening and closing days of the 1,617 supermarkets that it currently has throughout Spain.
The Internet search engine Mercadona allows you to find the nearest store and details of the opening hours of all establishments.
