The Mercadona supermarket chain has decided to carry out a donation of 40 million euros to help all its workers affected by DANA
The goal is for these people “Don’t have to start rebuilding your life from scratch,” according to a company press release, and for this, aid has been established for a fixed value for each damaged house and vehicle.
In the case of habitual residence, the amount will be 50,000 euros if the house has been totally or partially destroyed; 25,000 euros for the total or partial loss of furniture; and 5,000 euros for small matters.
Mercadona workers will receive 15,000 euros in aid for your usual car5,000 euros if they owned a motorcycle of any type and 500 euros for scooters and bicycles.
Mercadona assured that all affected employees will receive assistance next November 21 and reiterated that the entire company shares the pain that “the entire Valencian society suffers because of DANA”.
