Storms are expected to worsen from Saturday afternoon in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and the Landes, which will be placed on orange alert for storms, followed by the Gironde from 8 p.m., according to Météo-France.

Wind gusts of between 80 and 100 km/h (or even 100 to 110 km/h locally), hail and heavy rain are also expected in these three southwestern departments.
