President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, suggests “sowing peace and life, not war.”
His intention is to create a fund to allocate 1 percent of the military expenses of countries in order to conduct the largest forestry program in history.
This will mean exemption of about $ 24 billion per year (12 times more than Mexico already allocates) to support 6 million trees that will reform 15 million hectares, which is about four times higher than the surface of Denmark, all Guatemala, Belize and Salvador together or 30 percent of Sweden.
