Michael Jackson’s brother, who was part of the legendary group The Jackson 5, Tito Jackson, has died at the age of 71. Associated Press reports.
Tito is the third of nine children in the Jackson family.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our beloved father, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared for everyone.” – Tito’s children said in a statement on their social media page.
The cause and circumstances of death have not been specified.
Tito Jackson was born on October 15, 1953. Toriano Adaryll “Tito” Jackson was the group’s least-known member as a backing vocalist and guitarist. Tito was five years older than his brother Michael.
