Repeal of the pension reform: the RN bill considered admissible
The National Rally’s bill to repeal the latest pension reform, which raised the retirement age to 64, was deemed admissible on Wednesday by the office of the Assembly, the highest executive body, according to parliamentary sources.
This body, where the left has a majority and where the RN does not have the right to vote at present, had to decide on the financial admissibility of the bill. Ten deputies voted in favour of its admissibility and seven against. Representatives of the New Popular Front voted in favour. The text will be sent to the committee before its expected arrival in the House on 31 October.

Moreover, even if it were successful in the Bourbon Palace, the Lepenist party would have difficulty getting its text adopted by the Senate, where the right-wing hostile to repeal is in the majority.
