Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov cast his vote in the by-election to the Milli Majlis.
“Report” reports that he voted in Precinct No. 6 of Electoral District No. 7 of Sabail.
It should be noted that the elections are being held at 6,478 polling stations in 125 constituencies across the country. 54 of them were set up in territories free of occupation. Polling stations opened at 08:00. Voting will continue until 19:00. In the parliamentary elections, 990 candidates are competing for 125 deputy seats.
The total number of voters in Azerbaijan is 6 million 421 thousand 960 people.
