Retired colonel and military expert Anatoly Matviychuk, in a conversation with an AiF journalist, suggested that the Russian army could launch the next Oreshnik attack on the Nizhyn airfield. The F-16 fighter jets transferred to Ukraine by the Western allies are based here.
“Most likely, Oreshnik’s next targets will be bases for F-16 fighters. “We are talking about the Starokonstantinov military airfields in the Khmelnitsky region, Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region and in Poltava.” – says Matviychuk.
