The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA will hold ‘K-Goods Week’ (pictured) at Lida Square in Qingdao, China for 9 days starting from the 24th. This is an event to promote Korean consumer goods to Chinese consumers and support enterprises in expanding their sales channels. Under the theme of “Experience Korea in Qingdao”, 441 products from 44 enterprises including food, cosmetics, household items and clothing will be sold. Experience events will also be held with Qingdao aT Logistics Co., Ltd., a Chinese subsidiary of Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (aT), and the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives Qingdao Trade Support Center. We prepare product-related social media events such as on-site tastings of ramen and Kimjaban, crab meat and almond snacks. Kim Yun-hee, director of KOTRA Qingdao Trade Center, said: “Qingdao has a great interest in Korean culture and consumer goods,” adding: “We will support Korean consumer goods companies to expand their entry into the Chinese market.”
