The foreign policy departments of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan signed a cooperation program for the period 2025-2026. This was reported today, November 29, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
It is reported that the ceremony took place following the results of the next round of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. Igor Nazaruk and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aseina Isaeva. During the meeting, the parties considered “a wide range of current issues of bilateral relations with emphasis on interaction in integration organizations (EAEU, CIS, CSTO) and international platforms (UN, OSCE, etc.).”
“The heads of the delegations expressed their satisfaction with the state of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats and also confirmed the mutual desire to promote its development through the Foreign Ministries of both countries. As a result of the event, the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan for the period 2025-2026 was signed.” – says the message.
It should be noted that during the consultations Igor Nazaruk also had a brief meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. Jeenbek Kulubaev.
“The parties discussed the prospects for the development of relations between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan both in the bilateral format and in regional and universal international organizations.” – noted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
Let us remember that Belarus is subject to strict Western sanctions. In this sense, Minsk strengthens cooperation with countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The Belarusian authorities pay special attention to the development of relations with the states of the post-Soviet space.
