Belarus and Russia are working on an additional group of joint projects. This was announced today, October 7, by the Belarusian ambassador to the Russian Federation.
“Roadmaps were signed for microelectronics, aircraft manufacturing and machine tool manufacturing. Today, 27 projects worth 105 billion rubles have already been signed. An additional group of projects is being developed that will be discussed with the Russian side to increase the loan amount to at least 200 billion. Currently, the Russian side is considering 7 projects totaling more than 70 billion rubles. And we do not stop this work.” – said.
The ambassador of Belarus referred to the words of the first deputy prime minister of Russia Denis Manturov, who stated that in the last 4 years the parties have done more to develop cooperation than in 30 years of independence.
“We are doing everything possible to make both states technologically independent and self-sufficient.” – Rogozhnik emphasized.
Speaking of concrete figures, the diplomat pointed out that once again excellent results and growth in work with the Russian Federation have been observed.
“The turnover during the first eight months of this year amounted to more than 34 billion dollars with a growth rate of 108.2%. The growth rate of Belarusian exports is almost 104%. At the same time, Belarus has a positive balance of more than 500 million dollars… This cooperation is not only growing this year. In all previous years it grew even more dynamically. Therefore, it is necessary to point out that we are going in the right direction.” – said the ambassador, adding that there are no unsolvable issues on the bilateral agenda.
Let us remember that Belarus and Russia have been building the Union State since 1999. Currently, the parties are completing the implementation of 28 union integration programs.
